South African Team Leader Corrie Booysen had a rather memorable session recently, we will let him tell you the story in his own words:
'I arrived at the venue much later than what I had hope for due to a car accident.
During the night, my rods were still. Not a single bleep was to be heard. In the morning while I was making myself a cup of coffee, my left hand rod suddenly took off.
It was an absolute screamer. The fish pulled the rod right off the buzzer! I could feel from the moment I picked up my rod that I had gotten stuck into a chunk!
The battle didn't last that long. The run came at 8:15am and I netted this immaculate common at 8:30am.
I was buzzin when she flopped over a few meters out, but was even happier when she tipped the scale at 48lb 12oz.
I fished the stiff hinge rig made from a R-Circle Chod, RigorLink Chod Filament, Flexi Swivel, Micro Ring Swivel and Lead Clip with Pin.
